This course was a great insight to me and I have gained some new friends that I have learned a lot from. I want to thank everyone that has shared their knowledge and trends with me which has helped me be a better educator. To the instructor, your weekly feedback made me a stronger writer, that for the feedback. As a look back at my early childhood career in Child Development, one of my favorite quotes is
"Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand."- Chinese proverb
"Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression.- Dr. Hiam Gin
One of my favorite pieces of media when it comes to children is
Best of Luck to everyone and much success
Hello Arthurine, I really like your first post. It's often so easy to say things and not follow through with actions. For children it is important to model things and "practice what we preach." They learn and understand even better when they are allowed to do things for themselves. Thanks for sharing and happy holidays!

It has been an enlightening experience to reflect on topics and subject that I hadn't thought of before bringing a broader perspective to our approach with children. I hope to see you again in future classes on our journey of professional expansion.
